With the theme Eastern Religious Mythology, finding informations and inspiration for our Avatar Armor was really easy in the Rubin Museum of Art. This museum has collected the artistic heritage of the buddhist and hindu culture. Through the different exhibitions I came up with three main philosophy about that culture:
1. How by achieving enlightenment you can free yourself from an endless cycle of sufferings (birth,death and rebirth)?
2. How deities as a religious symbol embody protection for their population?
3. How the energy of one's past action (karma) is the force that traps people within the cycle (birth, death, rebirth)?
